Life Friendships
I have played Gaelic Football my entire life and was lucky enough to play at senior intercounty level for over 7 years. I have also been fortunate to play in different regions around the world as I continue to explore the positive impact our national sport has.

History

Gaelic Football (GF) is the national sport of Ireland. GF is a team sport that incorporates many of the skills found in soccer and basketball. It is one of the oldest field games in the world - dating back hundreds of years. There are over 2,500 registered Gaelic Football clubs around the world. Although its origins are very much Irish, GF has developed into a multi-cultural sport and has not lost its core principles. Participation, identity and enjoyment are at the very core of Gaelic Games and these values are seen throughout the world wherever the games are being played.
Life Lessons, Memories & Friendships
Being a member of teams my entire life has taught me everything. As an outsider, an insider, a captain, a vice-captain, a substitute, a squad member, and so on, I've learned a lot. Dedication, commitment, humility, discipline, growth, confronting fear, and so on.
