2023 Recognition - A Culmination of Years of Self-Discovery, Graft, and Adventure

A lot of stars aligned over many years to result in some lovely highlight moments at the end of 2023.

I was incredibly proud to receive the lifetime achievement award and become the 2023 'Seoul Gaels Legend' inductee at our Christmas Banquet. This is a special club, with a very unique circumstance in a little corner of Asia. Incredible people and old memories are with us for life. Thank you, Gaels! We've definitely got 서울!

I was also humbled and privileged to meet and receive a letter of praise from Ireland's Taoiseach/Prime Minister Leo Varadkar. This recognition was for my efforts and contributions to the Irish community, coinciding with Ireland's celebrated 40 years of diplomatic relations with Korea in 2023. It's not every day you get to chat with the big T!

A journey that started well before I left Ireland; ironically, I am more connected to home than ever before. I thank all those around me that help every good, bad, and special day take place with hard work, banter, and love (you know who you are ☺️).

The journey continues, and with each passing year, it becomes more adventurous. 2024 is already on course to be bigger and better than the last, and I look forward to meeting, collaborating, and moving forward together with all those I cross paths with.
